As part of our holistic approach to guiding students and families in school and life, we are pleased to have Dr. Marlyssa Fillmore, a licensed school psychologist, in our practice. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Indiana University and completed both her master’s and PhD in school psychology at Ball State University (July, 2019). Dr. Fillmore has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, private practice, integrated healthcare, and a residential youth center.
While she has provided services to individuals throughout the lifespan, she is primarily interested in working with children, adolescents, and their families. Specifically, Dr. Fillmore enjoys helping students and their families with problems which interfere with academic success, including complications with social adjustment, learning disorders, and emotional difficulties. Dr. Fillmore also has a special interest in giftedness, including the academic, social, and emotional development of gifted students. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and children.
